Fearlings

'Straszaki' (eng. Fearlings) is a poem about a somewhat quirky family living on an old, bare tree, written by an exquisite Polish writer, Dorota Gellner. Her poems were stuck with me for as long as I remember and I've decided to illustrate how I've imagined them in my head as a child. The story is about fear and insecurities - it serves as a friendly reminder that being afraid from time to time is nothing to be ashamed of. Accessibility was a core factor here for me, therefore 'Fearlings' are both printed and digital - animated file can be accessed from the PC, tablets and mobile devices.
